A generalized thesaurus which contains entities (words or phrases). The thesaurus is generalized because the possible relationships between the entities include more than synonyms and antonyms and the words or phrases are the names of objects that may have other attributes (images, models, references, etc.) attached to them. Hierarchical relationships such as that between parent and child is an example of a relationship beyond synonyms and antonyms. Some example hierarchies for the entities in the thesaurus (the objects in SenseLab) are those based on "Anatomy", "Ion channels", or "Topics".
