Databases Description Datasets
3DModelDB This db stores data for printing 3d models of neurons 8
BehaviorDB 8
Brain Pharm A database to support research on drugs for treatment of different neurological disorders. It enables searches for interactions at the level of key molecular constituents, cell compartments and individual cells in normal brain and in nervous disorders. 16
CellPropDB Cellular Properties Database (CellPropDB) provides a simple repository for data regarding membrane channels, receptor and neurotransmitters that are expressed in specific types of cells. The database is presently focused on neurons but will eventually include other cell types, such as glia, muscle, and gland cells 17
FunctionalConnectomeDB Database of all connections between neurons. 3
HBPDB This database provides search tools to aid the user in finding information contained within the projects participating in the Human Brain Project. 14
MicroCircuitDB MicroCircuitDB provides an accessible location for storing and efficiently retrieving computational models of brain circuits and networks. MicroCircuitDB is tightly coupled with ModelDB. Models can be coded in any language for any environment. Model code can be viewed before downloading and browsers can be set to auto-launch the models. 1
ModelDB ModelDB provides an accessible location for storing and efficiently retrieving compartmental neuron models. ModelDB is tightly coupled with NeuronDB. Models can be coded in any language for any environment, though ModelDB has been initially constructed for use with NEURON and GENESIS. Model code can be viewed before downloading and browsers can be set to auto-launch the models 30
NeuronDB NeuronDB provides a dynamically searchable database of three types of neuronal properties: voltage gated conductances, neurotransmitter receptors, and neurotransmitter substances. It contains tools that provide for integration of these properties in a given type of neuron and comparison of properties across different types of neurons. 26
NeurosciDataDB Pilot project to upload data files to SenseLab 1
OdorDB OdorDB is a database of odor molecules. It is related to the Olfactory Receptor Database. This database is supported by the Human Brain Project (NIDCD, NIMH, NIA, NICD, NINDS) and MURI (Multidisciplinary University Research Initiative) 6
OdorMapDB OdorMapDB is designed to be a database to support the experimental analysis of the molecular and functional organization of the olfactory bulb and its basis for the perception of smell. 5
OrDB ORDB is a database of sequences of olfactory receptor proteins. It contains public and private sections which provide tools for investigators to analyze the functions of this very large gene family of G protein-coupled receptors. It also provides links to a local cluster of databases of related information, and to other relevant databases worldwide 12
OR-ModelDB Database of computational studies of olfactory receptors 2
SimToolDB Collection of tools for simulations of neural and network models. This includes algorithms that are part of tutorials, that control or document simulations, and that analyze data produced from simulations. 2
