CTNG
CTNG, or Constructive Triangulated Neuronal Geometry, transforms point-diameter data into watertight surfaces by: (1) interpreting each pair of neighboring points as defining a cone; (2) employing 6 join rules to define a volume that joins neighboring cones; (3) defining signed distance to the surface of the union of all geometric objects; and (4) using marching cubes to locate the surface.
