1 We find that small-conductance Ca2+-activated K+ (SK) channels underlie most of the mAHP in GP neurons. This mAHP conductance is a small component of the overall outward current that flows during the subthreshold part of the oscillatory cycle, the majority of which is provided instead by an inactivating K+ current."
